Sean Perera holds a PhD in science communication with a focus
on critical interculturalism. He is a keen observer of humanity
through the complementary lenses of scientific rationality and
emotional expression. A Butterfly is his debut novel.

Sean is an Australian-Sri Lankan dual citizen. He is an academic
at The Australian National University in Canberra, where he
resides with his wife and their poodle, Zeus.
